ABOUT EXPERIENCE ECO
Our Philosophy
Our experiences consist on outdoor activities (snorkeling, hiking, trekking etc) based in Athens, Greece designed and led by inspiring locals. They go beyond typical touristic tours, where everyone stays anonymous, by immersing guests in a host's unique world. At the end of the experience, you will gain not only a new local friend but also a deep understanding of greek culture and lifestyle.
Eco (from Greek: οἶκος, "house", or "environment") deals with the balanced relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings. In our experiences, we respect and protect nature. All we leave behind us is only footprints!
Currently, we are covering the mountains of Athens, Vouliagmeni, and Evia island but consistently doing research and exploring new possibilities in order to keep our experiences fresh, interesting, and relevant. ECO-SNORKEL AT SEA GARDEN
Location: Athens riviera / Vouliagmeni
As everywhere else in the Mediterranean, snorkeling is mainly done during the summer in Greece, where the climate is warm and sunny from May to October.
Here, underwater life blossoms along the coast more than anywhere else in the Athenian Riviera. Plunging your mask into the water to observe octopus, green wrasses, damsels, sea breams and much more......
THE "D" TREK CIRCUIT AT PARNITHA NP

COASTEERING & HIKING AT VOULIAGMENI BAY
Location: Athens riviera / Vouliagmeni
The Vouliagmeni bay is one of the most beautiful parts of the Athenian riviera, but also one of the most touristic and crowded. In this activity, it's possible to experience a quieter side of the dramatic coast.
There are many trails carved into the cliffs of the Vouliagmeni and we chose the most famous along a green hill high above the famous Vouliagmeni lake (thermal).

WHERE IS THE MEETING POINT OF THE TOURS?
Generally the meeting point is outside main metro stations to serve better all participants coming from different areas of the city. Tours in south Attica are served by Elliniko metro station, those in the north by Syggrou-Fix or Aigaleo metro station.
WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS? WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
A good physical condition is required for most of the tours. For trekking tours you are adviced to bring a pair of trekking boots, a light jacket and a small backpack with your personall belongings.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE TOUR?
By average all tours are not bigger than 4 participants. This is to keep the experience character and have more time to interact with your local host and deep dive into local culture! Moreover, this size complies with the Covid-19 hygienic rules for social distancing.
